Using Digital Replicas and Simulation Technologies to Improve Aviation Safety
Who: University of Canberra
What: Maryam Ghahramani leads a project that utilizes digital replicas and simulation technologies to study the effects of different altitudes on spatial disorientation. By simulating real-world scenarios, the research aims to enhance the understanding of spatial disorientation in aviation and develop strategies to improve aviation safety. This study builds on insights from the analysis of postural balance in mild hypoxia for spatial disorientation recognition, in collaboration with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
