Rapid digital up-skilling in health: A look inside RMIT’s innovative collaboration with Cisco and Grampians Health. A government funded pilot that delivered co-designed micro credential training, for over 360 clinicians, IT staff and healthcare workers. Training focused on AI, cybersecurity, emerging technologies and more, with 86% of participants reporting high satisfaction with course’s content​.

RMIT’s Health Transformation Lab and College of Vocational Education are piloting a program to rapidly upskill front-line staff, broader health workforce and IT professionals in the healthcare sector to meet the industry’s emerging skills needs.

With the support of City of Melbourne, RMIT University Health Transformation Lab and RMIT Culture, RMIT Future Play Lab explored the future of Cardigan Street as central to the City North Social Innovation Precinct and its role in RMIT as a playable campus. The width of the street and proximity to student communities engaged with industries of creativity, care, and construction places it as a hub connecting Queen Victoria Market, Carlton and surrounds with the forthcoming State Library Station.

RMIT’s Innovation Catalyst in collaboration with Health Transformation Lab used machine learning techniques to examine 114,739 articles on financial wellbeing (including personal and family finance) published since 1990.
